I had a sort of revelation when viewing this. I immediately thought of the reapers upon my first glance and it came to me: What if the reapers were an organic race themselves harvested by the catalyst and used for the reaping! amazing artwork and a thought provoking details. Keep it up.

play mass effect 3. you will find an organic reaper. deep under the ocean. he will help you in the war :) They were also harvested by the catalyst and their form used as reapers.

maybe they're not actually flying. I mean look most of their tentacles are concentrated on the ground so maybe a part of them is flying.
